1. What services do you offer?

We provide general physicals, immigration medical exams (I-693), chronic condition management (e.g., diabetes, high blood pressure), preventive care, and more. You can visit Healing Pulse Medical.

2. Are you accepting new patients?

Yes! We welcome new patients. Please call or visit our website to schedule your first appointment.

3. What are your office hours?

Our general office hours are 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM, with a lunch break from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM, Monday through Saturday (closed Thursdays and Sundays).
Call ahead to confirm hours around holidays (203) 705-1488.

4. What are your blood work hours?

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 8:30 AM – 2:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Lunch Break (No Draws): 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
No blood work on Thursdays and Sundays.

5. Do I need to fast for my blood test?

If your test includes cholesterol or lipid levels, please fast for at least 8 hours. Black coffee or plain tea (no sugar or milk) is allowed.

6. Do I need an appointment for blood work?

No appointment is needed just for a blood draw. However, we recommend calling ahead to confirm availability (203) 705-1488.

7. What should I bring to my first appointment?

Please bring a valid photo ID, insurance card, medication list, and any previous health records or lab results.

8. Do you accept insurance?

Yes, we accept most major insurance plans. We also see cash-paying patients. Please call to confirm your coverage.

9. How do I schedule an immigration physical?

Call us directly to book. We perform USCIS I-693 exams and will guide you through the entire process.

10. How do I request a prescription refill?

Use the patient portal or call the office. For controlled substances, regular follow-up visits are required for refills.

11. Do you offer telemedicine (virtual visits)?

Televisits are strongly discouraged due to high call volumes and limited capacity. Phone calls are also avoided unless absolutely necessary. We prioritize in-person care for accurate assessment and treatment.

12. What is your cancellation/no-show policy?

We understand that emergencies happen. However, frequent no-shows may result in a penalty or discharge from the practice.

14. How can I reach you after hours?

For non-urgent matters, leave a voicemail or message us via the portal. For urgent needs, visit the nearest urgent care or call 911.
